Mr. Michael Marvin

Mr. Michael Marvin came to the Montour School District in August of 2008.  During his tenure, he has served as High School Assistant Principal, Middle School Assistant Principal, and as Elementary Principal.  Prior to his arrival at Montour, he taught math at Ambridge Area High School for twelve years.  Throughout his teaching career, Mr. Marvin coached varsity baseball, was an assistant coach for both boys and girls varsity basketball, and sponsored various clubs and organizations. 

A lifelong resident of western Pennsylvania, Mr. Marvin and his wife, Kathleen, have two children, Nicholas (13) and Elena (11), and an energetic Shiranian, MAC.  He enjoys recreational activities including baseball, basketball, and softball in addition to coaching youth sports.  Mr. Marvin is looking forward to continuing his work with the students, families, and staff of the Montour School District.
