Employment Opportunities

Director of Transportation – Anticipated Director of Transportation position at Montour School District.  A bachelor’s degree in business administration or management, transportation management, public administration or related field required.  Current Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a student transportation endorsement and current school bus physical required.  Minimum of five (5) years of experience in student transportation required, preferably in a school district setting.  Previous experience working in a union environment preferred.  Interested applicants should submit resumes to [email protected] by October 3, 2025.  

Bus Fueler – Anticipated Bus Fueler position available in the Transportation Department.  Applicants must currently possess a current Pennsylvania Commercial Driver's License, Class B minimum.  Applicants will be required to obtain School Bus and Passenger endorsements of the Pennsylvania Commercial Drivers License.  Must be able to perform minor adjustments and bus repairs with supervision and meet the physical requirements which include heavy lifting over 50lbs.  Transportation of students as needed will be required.  Interested applicants should submit resumes to [email protected]  by September 22, 2025. 

Part Time and Substitute Food Services Workers – the Nutrition Group is currently seeking part time and substitute Food Service Workers for all three Montour School District buildings.  Duties may include cooking and food preparation, portioning and serving food, as well as maintaining compliance with state and federal sanitation guidelines and regulations.  Interested applicants should contact Cortney Gill, Food Services Director at [email protected].

  • Substitute Nurses

We are currently accepting applications for substitute nurses.  Prior experience in a school district or with children preferred. Interested candidates should send resume to [email protected] or fill out an application in our central district administrative offices.

Candidates must be able to meet all clearance and background requirements.

Minimum Requirements:
PA state clearances, Act 126 Mandated Reporter Training, and TB test results  
 
Teachers: $125/day, $150/day after 25 days
Active PA teaching certificates, inactive teaching certifications(for one year.
 
Paraprofessionals: $15/hour, $17/hour after 25 days
High School Diploma
 
Secretary: $15/hour, $17/hour after 25 days
High School Diploma
