Dr. Robert Isherwood

Dr. Robert Isherwood is currently working in the Montour School District as part of the Keystone Educational Consulting Group.  Dr. Isherwood manages the day to day operations of the Special Education Department and Pupil Services Department.  He is also an Associated Professor of Special Education at Slippery Rock University.  Bob earned his undergraduate degrees in Special Education and Elementary Education at Slippery Rock University.  He also earned Masters Degrees in Special Education and School Administration from the University of Pittsburgh.  Dr. Isherwood went on to earn his doctorate in Administration and Policy Study as well as a Superintendent's Letter of Eligibility from Pitt in 2004.  His practical experience includes serving as a special education teacher for ten years in the Highlands SD, working as a principal in the Leechburg SD and Plum Borough SD for seven years, and teaching at Slippery Rock University for the past ten years.  Dr. Isherwood has worked as a consultant in school districts all over Pennsylvania as well as school districts in Ohio, Iowa, Texas, Maryland, and the United States Virgin Islands.  Bob lives in Butler, PA with his wife Kelly and daughter Teddi.
