Montour Elementary School will be holding a LEGO Makerspace Drive from September 12th to September 29th. The goal of the drive is to collect items that can be used to support Montour’s NEW LEGO Makerspace. This project, in collaboration with LEGO Education, Barnes & Noble, and Carnegie Mellon University, is designed to support maker activities using LEGO products. The idea is to allow students the opportunity to engage in the Maker Movement by having materials ready for use in a central location in the building. Teachers will then be able to access those materials for their students.
We are looking for old LEGOs, which will be collected in the main offices of the Montour Elementary School, David E. Williams Middle School, and Montour High School.
Want to donate to the LEGO Drive but don’t have any extra LEGOs at home? Don’t worry! Just fill out the order form below and send it, along with your check, to school with your child and a LEGO set will be donated in your name!
