The Montour Varsity Gymnastics Team welcomes all athletes grades 9 -12. A JV training program has been established to help those who are interested but have little or no competitive gymnastics experience learn the skills and routines necessary for competition in the WPIAL. Once athletes have met all competitive requirements, they are moved from JV status and become a competitive member of the Varsity Gymnastics Team.
During the winter sports season, the gymnastics team is kept very busy competing against other local schools and participating in a number of invitationals, including the Moon Invitational and the PA Classic State Invitational. In recent years, our team members have had much success -- winning medals and ribbons at both the WPIAL Championships and the PA Classic.
Year-round, off-campus training for Montour Spartan gymnasts is held @ All-Star Athletics & Gymnastics in Robinson Township and coordinated through the Head Varsity Gymnastics Coach, Christine Gulakowski.
