NOTICE TO BIDDERS
MONTOUR SCHOOL DISTRICT
ALLEGHENY COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA
Sealed Proposals will be received from qualified contractors by Montour School District for the following two projects:
MONTOUR SCHOOL DISTRICT DUGOUT PROJECT
MONTOUR SCHOOL DISTRICT PAVING PROJECT
The Montour School District Dugout Project involves the construction of new dugouts at the athletic fields and the Montour School District Paving Project involves construction of a new parking lot and access roads as well as new ADA concrete paved ramps at the athletic fields.
Proposals shall be delivered in a sealed envelope and clearly marked on the outside with the words " MONTOUR SCHOOL DISTRICT DUGOUT PROJECT” AND “MONTOUR SCHOOL DISTRICT PAVING PROJECT” respectively. All proposals must be submitted to Mrs. Anna Borsos, Business Manager, 225 Clever Road, McKees Rocks, PA 15136.
Due dates for proposals are as follows:
MONTOUR SCHOOL DISTRICT PAVING PROJECT before 11:00 a.m. September 6, 2017
MONTOUR SCHOOL DISTRICT DUGOUT PROJECT before 11:00 a.m. September 13, 2017
Copies of contract documents are available at The Gateway Engineers, Inc., for $50.00 per set. No refund will be made. Mailing is an additional $10.00 per set.
Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage rates are required to be paid on this project.
Proposals must be accompanied by a Certified Check or Bidder's Bond made to the order of Montour School District, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the Proposal. Proposals shall remain firm for a period of one-hundred eighty (180) days. The School District reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals, or any part thereof, for any reason, and also reserves the right to waive any informality therein.
